Small Animal Hospital
The Doctor that started the Veterinary Hospital in 1929 oversaw the city’s carriage horses that delivered milk, towed the fire trucks, and policed the streets before automobiles took over. An Equine Veterinarian chose to treat companion pets in one room of the carriage house.
To differentiate clinics, the veterinarian referred to the pet section as the “Small Animal Hospital.” Small Animal Hospital relocated to 2163 N. Farwell Avenue before moving to its current location in 2003.
Today, the team consists of five doctors averaging 20 years of experience each, and board-certified veterinary technicians. Small Animal Hospital offers many services to ensure your pet’s health and happiness.
