The Harp Irish Pub was established in 1955 at 933 North Broadway. Josephine Dolan, the owner and operator, moved to 113 East Juneau Avenue in 1965 because of redevelopment.
Many taverns have called its 113 East Juneau Avenue home, including The Merry Gardens, The Blue Room Tap, The Melzer & Cole Tavern, and The Taxi Inn. Numerous features have been added since the 1860s, like the renowned Milwaukee River deck, which has made Harp Irish Pub a Milwaukee staple.
